100% recommendable! We were allowed to enjoy our wedding dinner here during Corona times (subject to conditions). The staff was absolutely friendly and quick! The table decoration was exactly what I wanted and the food was really perfect! (And that despite short-term special requests) Many thanks!!!!

We had a wonderful brunch at Drathenhof today on Reformation Day. The highlights for me were sweet and sour poultry and homemade ice cream cake. The service was very friendly, attentive and discreet. Satisfied all round!

The food was delicious, and the staff courteous and friendly. We were here with our two kiddies and they too felt at home here. We'll definitely be back!

We celebrated my sister's wedding here and it was super nice. The food was delicious and perfectly prepared to the point. The service was established and very attentive. All in all, completely satisfied and highly recommended.

Location and ambience: The Drathenhof is a comfortably furnished restaurant right next to the Molfsee open-air museum. Therefore, there should usually be enough parking spaces at the house. The old building and the rustic furnishings are not modern, but very cozy. Corona: The restaurant operator is doing everything to protect his guests from infection. At the entrance, information is provided about the relevant rules and hand disinfectants are also available directly. The staff wears mouth and nose masks and guests' data is recorded. Map and selection: The map is a little smaller due to Corona. (2 A4 pages), but still so diverse that everyone has enough choice, regardless of whether they fancy meat, fish or vegetarian dishes. Taste and quality: we had three main courses - fried fish; Open potatoes and Drathenhofer special plates. All three dishes were delicious and came in generous portions. But despite the generous portions, all three plates were completely empty in the end, because the fried fish with fresh tartar sauce tasted delicious, the open potatoes and the herb quark were addicting and the meat of the special plate was just like the fried potatoes fried to the point, tender and simply delicious. The quality of the meat was top, the other side dishes and sauces all tasted fresh. Service: Super nice and very well informed service. Twice we were asked about further wishes and our opinion about the food. The service was always very quick. Prices: We paid € 50 for three people with drinks and three main courses. The prices are absolutely justified given the quality, the quantity and the great taste. Conclusion: We would love to come back here. One of our new favorite restaurants in Kiel and the surrounding area.

In the Corona time, restaurateurs should be happy about every guest and be more friendly towards them. The menu is varied and seasonal. The service staff are very friendly and tried hard to please the guests. The anticipation for the pumpkin soup was diminished by the graved smoked salmon filler.

Great service, there was even a greeting from the kitchen as a starter. Our main courses were delicious. The portions were quite large, from the "too small portions" as described in other reviews, we saw nothing. We'd love to come back.

It was my first time in the restaurant and was delighted with the ambience, service and food. My plaice was delicious, but unfortunately I could only eat 3/4 of it because it was very big. The price / performance ratio was okay

Was once again very nice, were invited to the birthday. Had a buffet.

There were three of us for brunch at the Drahthenhof on August 23 and we were very satisfied. Both the offer and the quality of the food as well as the friendly, attentive staff, everything was perfect and we were full until evening :-)

Lovingly designed rooms, some "new" interiors are showing their age and optically don't necessarily fit ... there is classic German cuisine, good to very good but not spectacular. Service is based on classic rules in the best sense of the word. How it should be.

Very nice service, very nice place. But half a scoop of ice cream, 7 pieces of strawberries with a heap of cream for 5.50 doesn't fit. I would have imagined it to be a bit more balanced.

The restaurant is very nice, quaint and has a great atmosphere. Four of us were eating and all had a first class meal (four different dishes including appetizer). The service was very courteous and the restaurant management had presented itself at the table and inquired after the rights. Very sympathetic. The restaurant is highly recommended ...

We (3 adults) were here for the first time today and will definitely come back again when we are in the area. Price / performance ratio is right, the taste of our food was very tasty, hot and quick at the table. The salad was also delicious, the dressing good and the vegetables nicely arranged. The service was also very nice and attentive, the location was beautiful and quiet.

Sunday brunch, very good food. Stylish environment in old farmhouse.
